Barcelona Airport Terminal Information

Introduction

The main terminal building of Barcelona Airport holds three terminals: A, B and C. (Sometimes marked as TA, TB and TC.)

Passengers go to an airline's designated terminal passengers to find it's ticketing and check in counters. Via security gates, each terminal gives out onto a pedestrian avenue that runs the length of the terminal buildings. As they go to their planes passengers from all three terminals share this same walkway, unless security restrictions are in force.

The avenue gives access to six triangle-shaped modules, M-0, M-1, M-2, M-3, M-4 and M-5, each of which has its own set of gates for embarkation and disembarkation. Consequently, an airline's planes may use a module that is a located a little distance away from the terminal its check-in and ticketing services use. So departing passengers should check their boarding cards carefully to make sure they know which gate to go to. (Occasionally, a boarding card may not show the gate number, but instead use only the module name, e.g. M-1).

Each terminal at Barcelona airport has a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. ATMs (cash machines) are available in all terminals; full service banking offices, which offer currency exchange services, are available in Terminals A and B. There is a business center in Terminal B.
