Driving Directions

The Beijing Capital International Airport is located 28 kilometres (18 miles) north-east of Beijing, People's Republic of China. The approximate travelling time from central Beijing to the Beijing Capital International Airport ranges between 40 and 60 minutes by car or taxi.

There are three main routes that lead from the city of Beijing to the Beijing Capital International Airport. These routes are namely Xidan, Gongzhufen and Zhongguancun. The route to Xidan in central Beijing is the most popular route and is only a short walk away from the Forbidden City. Gongzhufen in western Beijing and Zhongguancun in the city's north-west district are the other two routes that lead from the city of Beijing to the Beijing Capital International Airport.
