The newly refurbished terminals at the Gold Coast Airport provide all the facilities expected of a modern airport. These facilities and services include Travelex currency exchange booths, transport and information desk, accommodation booking board and unisex baby changing facilities. Major car rental companies such as Avis, Hertz, Thrifty, Budget, Ascot Car Rental and Europcar operate from the Gold Coast Airport. The car rental area is located just opposite the check-in counters.

The Gold Coast Airport offers a number of restaurants as well as shopping options. Public telephones can be found throughout the terminals; e-mail and Internet facilities are provided. A NewsLink store that offers pharmaceutical products, magazines and toys is also available at the Gold Coast Airport's terminal.

The Gold Coast Airport also offers many facilities for travellers with physical disabilities. These include wheelchair assistance and disabled parking facilities as well.

Four airlines operate from the terminal of the Gold Coast Airport to many destinations around the world. These airlines include Qantas Airways, Virgin Blue Airlines, Australian Airlines and Freedom Air.
