The terminal of the Charlotte Airport covers an area of nearly 1.5 million square feet and offers many facilities and services. These include a bank / ATM, a chapel, first-aid facilities, flight information services, and postal / shipping facilities. The terminal also offers gift shops, retail and specialty shops, and ticketing facilities.

The terminal of the Charlotte Airport also features several conference rooms that are available for public use. These rooms can accommodate up to eight persons. The Charlotte Airport also offers an auditorium with seating facilities for 80.

These services are located on the lower level of the terminal with the exception of the city bus service (CATS), which operates from the east end of the upper level of the main terminal.

A U.S. Postal Service mailbox and stamp machine have been situated next to the restrooms and ATMs located at the beginning of concourse D. Drop boxes for the US Postal Service, Airborne Express, UPS, and Federal Express are also located along the curbside of the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

Foreign currency can be obtained at the First Citizen Bank ATM located on the concourse D / E connector.

ATMs are located throughout the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. ATMs of First Citizens Bank and Wachovia are located near concourse A while both Bank of America and First Citizen Bank feature ATMs on the concourse D / E connector.

Tourist Information

The Information Counter is located at the Ticketing Lobby of the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Open daily from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, the Information Counter provides general airport information and paging services. Call (704) 359-4013 to contact the Information Counter.

The Welcome Center located at the baggage claim of the airport also provides general airport information as well as tourism information about Charlotte and the Mid-Carolinas region. The Welcome Center is open daily from 7:30 am to 11:00 pm.
