Terminal Information

The airport terminal at the Indianapolis Airport consists of 33 gates and covers an approximate land area of 673,000 square feet. The terminal features all the modern facilities that are expected from an international airport. Facilities on offer include rest areas, ATMs, telephone facilities, general information desks, airline information counters, and car rental areas. Many varied restaurants are available at the Indianapolis Airport and in addition to these, retail shops, BP fuel stations, sports goods stores, and bookstores are also available.
A new airport terminal at the Indianapolis Airport, named the Midfield Terminal, is also under construction at present. This new terminal building will be constructed between the two main existing runways in the midfield area of the Indianapolis Airport's property. This project is estimated to be an investment of $974 million and upon completion will include a new terminal, concourse, and a parking garage as well as site preparation, utility and road work, and airfield improvements.
The Indianapolis Airport Upper Terminal provides access to all concourses, airline ticket counters and an Information Center located in the Central Ticket Lobby.
The Indianapolis Airport Lower Terminal contains baggage claim areas, airport services such as car rental services, and ground transportation services.

The Indianapolis International Airport meets ADA requirements and affords easy access to persons with disabilities. Special telephones and specially equipped elevators are some of the many facilities available. Telecommunications Devices for the Deaf (TDDs) are available at the Information Center in the Central Ticket Lobby and in Concourses A, C and D (upper level).
