King Abdulaziz International Airport Terminal Information

Introduction

The King Abdulaziz Airport Jeddah features the North and South Terminals, the VIP Terminal and the Hajj Terminal.

South Terminal

The South Terminal of the King Abdulaziz Airport Jeddah is considered to be one of the most architecturally striking air terminals in the world. The unique feature of the South Terminal is its curved roof over the main departure bay. The South Terminal is designed to accommodate 2500 passengers per hour and serves all scheduled domestic and international flights of Saudi Arabia. The South Terminal of the King Abdulaziz Airport Jeddah also features two public restaurants and a 60-room hotel, which is located about 100 metres east of the main entrance in the Arrivals level.

North Terminal

The North Terminal of the King Abdulaziz Airport Jeddah is of similar shape to the South Terminal. The North Terminal caters to the regular international airlines and an additional 20 international airlines that operate during the Hajj and Omrah seasons. The North Terminal also consists of 14 departure gates, a cafeteria in the Departure lounge beyond the passport counter and a restaurant at the terminal's main entrance.

VIP Terminal

The VIP Terminal of the King Abdulaziz Airport Jeddah is reserved exclusively for the use of official guests, kings and heads of state and other VIPs.

Hajj Terminal

The Hajj Terminal at the King Abdulaziz Airport Jeddah was constructed in order to accommodate the ever-increasing number of Hajj pilgrims. The facilities on offer at the Hajj Terminal for pilgrims include prayer areas, rest areas, banks, currency exchanges, post office, telephone facilities, markets, restaurants, general information desks, airline information counters, medical clinic and first-aid services.
