Introduction
Manila Airport (MNL) is the busiest airport in the Philippines, hosting 28 airlines between its capital city Manila and destinations worldwide. Manila Airport is also the base for flag carrier Philippine Airlines.
Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport is located just 8 miles (12 kilometres) south of the city of Manila - a journey of around 20 minutes by road. A lavish new Terminal 3 was set to open in 2005 but has been postponed indefinitely due to a legal dispute.
