Ground transportation options for travelers arriving at New Orleans International Airport (MSY) include several transportation modes, including taxis, limousines, shuttles and private bus service.

Taxis

Taxis are available on the lower level of the terminal, outside the baggage claim area. Charges are made on fixed rates depending on the destination.

Airport Shuttle Service

Shuttle service is available from New Orleans International Airport (MSY) to the hotels in downtown New Orleans. Group or individual shuttle services are available and advanced reservations must be made prior to arrival at the airport, if special handicap accessible shuttles are required. Shuttle service tickets are provided through the ticket booths located on the lower level in the baggage claim area.

Airport Limousine Service

Limousine and sedan services are available from the airport to the central business district and the French Quarter. Limousine information desks are located on the lower level baggage claim areas.

Coastliner / Mississippi Coast Service

Coastliner provides shuttle service to the Gulf Coast and many other places along the route. Tickets for the shuttle service must be purchased at the Coastliner booth located on the lower level next to US Customs.

Private Bus Service

Buses pick-up passengers from the area located on the upper level outside Entrance #7. Greyhound provides transport to any location along the Gulf Coast and Jefferson Transit provides express transportation to downtown New Orleans from the airport.

Louisiana Shuttle Express

The Louisiana Shuttle Express provides transportation between the airport and Baton Rouge upon prior reservations.
