Norfolk International Airport Ground Transportation

Ground Transportation

Travelers arriving at the Norfolk International Airport have a variety of transportation options available. These options include Taxis, Shuttle Services and other transportation provided by private companies.

Shuttle Service


The Norfolk Airport Express travels from the Norfolk International Airport down to Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth and Suffolk on Southside Hampton Roads, Williamsburg, Hampton, Newport News, Jamestown and Yorktown to the North (across Chesapeake Bay). The Shuttle service is located outside baggage claim at a booth marked '˜Airport Express Shuttle Service'.

Taxis


The taxi service is located directly outside the baggage claim area and provides service right to the destination. Up to five people can ride in one taxi, provided it is the same destination that they are traveling down to. Rates are according to the meter throughout the roads of Hampton and thereafter, at a flat rate.
