The Portland International Airport is a 30-45 minute drive away from downtown Portland.

To Downtown Portland or Points West

Take Airport Way to Interstate 205 South and turn right onto Interstate 205 South. Then follow to Interstate 84 West exit and follow Interstate 84 to Portland. Finally, access Interstate North / South, Interstate 405 and Highway 26 West.
Given below is a comprehensive set of directions to the Portland International Airport from different areas.

Traveling to the Portland International Airport from the North

Take Interstate 5 South to Interstate 84 East. Proceed onto Interstate 205 North and exit. Now take Airport Way West and exit off Interstate 205. Follow Airport Way until you reach the terminal of the Portland International Airport.
Or take Interstate 205 South to Airport Way West exit and follow Airport Way until you reach the terminal of the Portland International Airport.

Traveling to the Portland International Airport from the South

Take Interstate 5 North through Portland to Interstate 84 East exit. Then take Interstate 84 East to Interstate 205 North exit. Now proceed along Airport Way West exit off Interstate 205. Follow Airport Way until you reach the terminal of the Portland International Airport.
Or take Interstate 205 North to Airport Way West exit and follow Airport Way until you reach the terminal of the Portland International Airport.

Traveling to the Portland International Airport from the East

Take Interstate 84 West to Interstate 205 North and proceed to Airport Way. Then take Airport Way West exit off Interstate 205 and follow Airport Way until you reach the terminal of the Portland International Airport.

Traveling to the Portland International Airport from the West

Take Highway 26 heading east towards Portland and then take Interstate 405 South. Follow Interstate 405 South to Interstate 84 East exit. Now take Interstate 84 East and exit onto Interstate 205 North. Take Airport Way West exit off Interstate 205 and follow Airport Way until you reach the terminal of the Portland International Airport.
