San Diego International Airport Ground Transportation

Ground Transportation

Shuttle vans, taxis and public transportation are available as ground transportation options for travelers arriving at San Diego Airport (SAN).

Shuttle Vans


Shuttle vans are a convenient choice for individual or group transportation to San Diego city destinations. These vans are available at the Transportation Plazas of terminal one and two and the curbside of the commuter terminal.

Taxis


Taxis are parked at the Transportation Plazas of both terminal one and two and a transportation coordinator will direct the traveler to the first available taxi unless a specific taxi services is requested for.

Public Transportation


Metro Bus provides transportation along Flyer Route No.992, which allows passengers at the airport to board the bus and travel to various San Diego destinations. This bus service connects with Amtrak, Coaster and Trolley.
