Taxis should only charge flat rates fixed by local authorities, and passengers should determine these before entering the taxi. Bridge and tunnel tolls are not included in the flat rate. Passengers should ask for a receipt showing the driver's name, driver's I.D. Number, cab company name and number, and the amount paid.

Passengers using unauthorized transportation services do so at their own risk.
